We had an awesome be 'A Ranger Day' with The Chiltern Rangers on Friday. We helped revive The Wye Chilterns area of outstanding natural beauty removing Himalayan Balsam and a lot of rubbish; 20 black sacks full plus parts of a cooker, monitor, sleeping bag, bath mat 2x umbrellas, soffits and more...!
Meanwhile in the Funges Meadow Reserve we removed dock and thistle to allow other wildflowers to thrive and also planted up some we'd grown from seeds from Grow Wild & Habitat Aid Ltd. Some of the team continued the work to refurbish the board walk and secured 50 non-slip strips. We had a fantastic time, it was a great team building experience and a brilliant opportunity to give a little back! Thank you Chiltern Rangers for a day to remember!
