Our client is a global leader in the distribution of electronic components, committed to excellence in every aspect of their business. They pride themselves on delivering top-notch service to their customers and fostering a dynamic work environment where every team member is valued and supported.

They are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative to join their team in High Wycombe. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for their valued customers, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service. Your responsibilities will include processing orders, managing quotes, assisting with catalog information, and generating new and repeat business through exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Provide outstanding service by processing customer orders, quotes, and returns with a focus on accuracy and excellence. Maintain and exhibit our company values in all customer interactions.
  • Order Management: Research and expedite customer orders, monitor delivery dates, and ensure product quality meets customer requirements. Verify that all orders are processed correctly and confirm the expediting of special handling orders.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction, address any concerns, and resolve issues promptly. Provide information on the availability of in-stock and out-of-stock items.
  • Sales Support: Identify and present cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to customers, including associated products and promotional items.
  • Catalog and Sample Requests: Manage requests for catalogs, information, and samples effectively.
  • Team Support: Assist local Customer Service teams and provide support to other teams as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a distribution or electronic components industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is preferred.

 

Salary - £25K - £30K

Office based role, 37.5 hrs a week, Monday- Friday
